She is here! Our daughter is finally arrived, and it’s a little earlier than what have planned: she came 2 weeks before the due date. Until now I still can’t believe this, that I’m a mom. It felt surreal.
So after a very short delivery (she was delivered 30 mins after the 10th dilation – which according to some friends and fams it was super fast) and 3 nights at the hospital, we finally were home.
And these two weeks seems like it passed by so fast! We (Dennis and I) became homebodies for these 2 weeks, not going out unless we really need to. We want to savour all the time needed to spend in our early days as parents.
We both feels that this is a huge learning curve for us as everything felt brand new, both technically and emotionally. We learnt new skills – changing diapers, burping baby, breastfeeding, putting baby to sleep, and so on. We also had our worries that we constantly turned to Google for answer (bad choice!).
It also felt like magic, it’s a miracle to have this adorable little human joining our family. In so many ways we are still getting to know each other, through our day to day routine.
And also expect that more baby pictures are coming your way, as she is SO adorable and we LOVE her so much!
